Day 24

I realized this morning that isolation doesn't bother me. I finally understand what it might be like to live with me. It's a good thing Jane has a duck to keep her company.
______

One reason churches want to congregate in this time of corona is for revenue. It's hard to pull in offerings when the plate you're passing is virtual. But I'm not worried. Most churches will find a way to get more money. People want to believe in something, especially with the collapse of decency in our society. And giving money is way easier than actually doing something good. Too bad god doesn't pay taxes.
______

A couple of days ago I wrote about the pandemic of lying, which continues unabated. Just yesterday Senator Thom Tillis said no one could have known how bad the coronavirus would be. That's a bald-faced lie. Lots of people knew, Trump knew. But the administration chose to ignore warnings for almost 70 days before taking action. They should all be charged as accessories to murder.
______

If you've been keeping up with Dan Forest, you know he's struggling to be relevant. His job has no meaningful duties, which has freed him to engage in non-stop campaigning for the past two years. But now that we're in the coronavirus storm, there's nothing for him to do. He's reduced to sniping from the sidelines at Governor Cooper. He could have said, "Governor, I don't always agree with you, but I'm here to help. Give me a job to do. I'm on your team." No chance of that.

ain't no money like god money

More lies

What's amazing is that anyone believes this shit.
