that would mark this holy weekend, it would be that our elected officials think long and hard before casually inacting legislation that would have such profound and negative impacts on so many families.
The recent storm-generated tornadoes have shown us that pain and misfortune can strike anyone, anywhere, and our government can only watch and hope for the best. But that is the random chance of nature.
The acts of our General Assembly are neither random nor chance. These things are chosen. Now, they can choose to do good, or they can choose to do harm. I know which one I would choose.
